James is a Partner at HUME Commercial & Planning Solutions and is the Director for the UK and Europe regions. Having been a professional within the construction industry for nearly 20 years, he has gained experience providing commercial management and quantity surveying services on a multitude of major construction projects for leading organisations across the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Having a particularly strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering services, he has a comprehensive understanding of the criteria required to successfully deliver engineering driven assets.
In addition to James’ experience he has also pursued formal professional qualifications, including a HNC in Building Services Engineering, an honours Degree in Quantity Surveying and achieved membership to the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Paul is a Partner at HUME Commercial & Planning Solutions and is the Director for the Middle East and Asia regions. Having been a professional within the construction industry for over 22 years, he has led the planning and project controls function on a number of multi-billion dollar iconic projects which are recognised globally. Paul has worked for international main contractors and blue-chip project management consultants in UK, UAE, Qatar, Hong Kong and Kazakhstan. Paul’s diverse experience includes Stadia, Commercial, Residential, Retail, Mixed Use, Complex Engineering and Infrastructure projects.
In addition to Paul’s industry experience he has also obtained formal professional qualifications including a HNC in Building Studies and a BSc (hons) degree in Construction Project Management.
