About the project

An iconic mega-project in Abu Dhabi delivered for Mubadala, one of the UAE’s largest developers, comprising the formation of a new island constructed with quay walls and reclaimed land. Elevated roadways, service tunnels, installation of new utilities and several bridges connected to the mainland. Central to the island was Sowwah Square, a commercial hub in the CBD which contains four towers circa 34 stories tall, along with the central iconic stock exchange building and interconnecting retail mall.

What we did

HUME Commercial & Planning Solutions were employed by the Project Management Consultant to oversee Planning and Project Controls. This included weekly analysis of all Main Contractor programmes and progress reports. In addition, review of Main Contractors EoT Claims.
